Matts’ work has enabled close working relationships with government food agencies across the world, which included Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia.

His food journey took him to The Dorchester in London, Käfer Lenbach in Munich, Hotel Schweizerhof in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and a period working in Ireland where he was awarded an Egon Ronay Award. Later commercial roles within Government included The Houses of Lords, various roles across central government and a role as Sourcing Manager of Food and Beverages within the worlds largest catering facility at Emirates Flight Catering, Dubai.

Fuelled by a passion for innovation and a dedication to fostering growth in the food industry, Matt has launched SUBU Connect. SUBU Connect provides Irish food suppliers with a platform to expand their presence in the Middle Eastern market, fostering growth and maturing 'Go to Market' export

strategies.

Matt lives in London with his wife, has three children and when he is not working on SUBU Connect, you are likely to find him in the kitchen cooking, which remains a great passion.
